High cloud/Sunny spells. 2/16/10c. Variable 2

F&C CANAL (Ruchill St > Lock 27)
Same route as i walked on Monday but with varying results.
Mute Swan 4
Moorhen (the Maryhill Locks pair are on with their 2nd nest)
Grey Wagtail 1
Ring-necked Parakeet 1
Raven (2 adults with 1 fledgling)
Fox 1
Large Red Damselfly 1

Didnae get out yesterday (Wednesday) but i did see my first Swifts of the year with 3 seen from the window)

    A parakeet?! In Scotland?! I look forward to seeing a photo of that! Nice juvenile rook photo (well, I like all the photos actually) Stay safe!

      There's 2 breeding colonies of Parakeets in Glasgow (Victoria Park & Dawsholm Park) I've only ever got one photo of them and that was from Victoria Park.
