Clydebank along with Drumchapel is on the approach (landing) flightpath for Glasgow Airport. So for something different, i always try to get shots of the incoming aircraft.

Not too bad considering the canal was almost completely frozen over for the 6 miles i walked, with the only open water being at the bottom of the lock gates.

Quite a pleasant wee stroll with a handful of highlights.

The Small White larva that I found (brought home to rear through) last Thursday sadly had been parasitised by the Wasp "Cotesia glomerata"

Not a lot seen on this walk but it was good to get out after having a couple of days indoors.

Over the last few days I have seen there`s quite a few Waxwings arriving at several locations around the UK. Fingers crossed it`s gonna be an invasion year...and i for one will be keeping both my eyes & ears open for any.

Another one of those days where it was extremely quiet, with the only highlights being a single Fieldfare (my first of the Autumn/Winter) & my first "Clydeside" December Moth. The latter being found by one of the external lights of the Café On The Canal.

Fox Fest

All the years i lived in Yorkshire i could count on one hand how many Foxes i saw. Up here it`s totally different and there are days where i don`t have enough fingers on one hand. Thursday (just gone) was one of those days, where i was treated to seeing 7 individuals within a 2hr period.
