Frost. Bright spells. -3/4/1c. E2

RIVER KELVIN (Garrioch Rd > Inn Deep)
Not a lot seen on this walk but it was good to get out after having a couple of days indoors.

Over the last few days I have seen there`s quite a few Waxwings arriving at several locations around the UK. Fingers crossed it`s gonna be an invasion year...and i for one will be keeping both my eyes & ears open for any.

  1. I was thinking about planting a rowan out in the front garden behind the pond to tempt waxwings. What do you think?

    1. Worth a try Peggy. Rowans are fast growing and you may just get lucky.

  2. I've been seeing waxwing reports too - and like you hoping for a waxwing winter :) Sadly in our garden local birds have already devoured all the berries!

    1. Fingers crossed Caroline. There's plenty of berry laden trees round here.
