Not a bad wee walk (12.4 miles).
Cormorant 6 (5 River Kelvin)

Great Spottted Woodpecker 1
Raven 2 (E over Westerton. What was probably the same 2 birds were seen on the gas tanks @ Kelvindale, at dusk)
Fox 1 (dead, Clydebank)
Palmate Newt 2 (same pair as yesterday)

More like a Spring day rather than late December and that was evident with one of the highlights.

Palmate Newt 2 (hibernating under a log)
Bumblebee sp 1 (seen flying)

Good to be back home and seeing some decent wildlife, albeit the bread & butter stuff of my local patch, it was much more than i saw last week in South Yorkshire.

Glasgow/Rawmarsh

I`ve not been in the right frame of mind to blog over the last couple of weeks but i have taken a few pics (with an emphasis on the few) during that time.
This week i'm away visiting my family for Christmas and this is my last day before i return home to both Glasgow and hopefully back to regular blogging.

Most definitely the coldest day of the Winter so far...and the only things to mention were a pair of Mute Swans & a single Fox. Nevertheless, i managed to get a few pics.

Overcast. Sunny from late afternoon. 13/21/17c. E/NE2-4 Took a wee wander around the Southern end of Ruchill Park. 2 firsts of the year...
