Friday 11th October

Sunny spells. Showers. 11/14/10c. SW5

ARDROSSAN/SALTCOATS
Took a 30 minute train ride out to the coast and despite the strong winds & heavy showers, a brilliant day was had.
The main highlights were 2 new species for my Clydeside list, with 4 Guillemots in Ardrossan Harbour and 2 Red-breasted Mergansers at Saltcoats.
Other notables were ;
Common Buzzard 2 (en-route)
Oystercatcher
Curlew
Redshank
Turnstone
Raven 1 (over Ardrossan Harbour)
Grey Seal 1 (Ardrossan Harbour)
