Cloudy/Light rain am. Sunny pm. 9/10/11c. Cold E3-5

LARGS/CUMBRAE
Took the train to Largs, then the ferry across to the Isle of Cumbrae. Saw a few nice species, with the main highlight being my 107th bird species for the Clyde area, in the form of 3 Purple Sandpipers.
Other notables were ;
Common Buzzard 3 (seen from the train en-route)
Black Guillemot 1 in Winter plumage (seen from the ferry)
Turnstone 3
Sandwich Tern 3
Gannet 3
Raven 2
Seal sp 1 (brief views from the ferry)
