Monday 7th October

Overcast/Rain. Sunny from mid-afternoon. 12/16/12c, SSW3

HOGGANFIELD LOCH
Not the best weather to be out & about and that was reflected in this mornings sightings. Pretty much the same species as my last visit here.
The only differences were a single Redwing (my first Clydeside record of the Winter period) and an alloy ringed Mute Swan (W27782. Rung as a 1+ year bird at the site on 8th October 2011)
Grey Heron

Goosander

Lesser Black-backed Gull

  1. This medium is far better for your pictures than FB. The Swan's leg is very interesting as are the Fungi. Great shots again.

    1. Thank you for your kind words Toffeeapple.
I know quite a few people who have said that FB reduces the quality of their pics as well, so it's not just me.
