Monday 28th October

Frost. Sunny. -2/9/0c. NW2
I have been out most days since my last post but not had a lot to report/photograph....so it was good to see a few things for a change.

F&C CANAL (Ruchill St > Lock 27)
Cormorant 6 (on one of the old bridge supports, River Kelvin)
Grey Heron 1
Mute Swan 3
Goosander 1
Peregrine 1 (circling high over the gas tanks, Anniesland)

BINGHAM`S POND
Mute Swan 8 (pair with 6 young)
Goosander 4
Black-headed Gull (Red 2EV8)

    Gorgeous phots and great sightings Dean. We saw a Red Kite in Herefordshire on Monday and last week saw a fox in the garden - the first sighting for years!

      Thank you Caroline. Wow!! 2 good sightings for you there. Red Kites are few & far between up this part of Scotland.

    There are loads of Red Kits in Dumfries & Galloway but very localised populations.
