  2. What a beautiful set of photos reminding us all of Spring. The bee fly shot is stunning Dean and I love the "footballer" hoverfly. Good to see you are getting out and about and sharing your wonderful sightings :)

    1. Thank you Caroline. That's the 4th Bee Fly i've seen this week and the only one to settle long enough for a pic.
      I've been going out early to avoid all the joggers, cyclists & dog walkers but in doing so i reckon i'm missing out on seeing more Insects.

  3. I haven't kept up with Blogs for some reason, so I have only just caught up with this. You see so much and know so many name of things, it is very impressive. I see lots of Bee Flies here but they are too fast for me to identify!

      Regards you saying it's impressive, i still have to research quite a lot of species to find what they are. Every day is a learning curve and i wouldn't have it any other way.
