  1. Every single image Dean is just stunning :) The Fringe Cups plant is unusual - never seen one! The baby moorhens are cute. You certainly find some super wildlife on your daily walk :) I am SO pleased you are getting a moth trap and look forward to seeing what you get - I got out of the habit of using mine when I had massive problems over my mother's house and my brother who was living there 3 years ago and have never really got into trapping again. So I am hoping your findings may at long last motivate me to put mine out!

I look forward to your daily posts :)

    1. Thank you as always for your kind words, Caroline. They are very much appreciated.
The banks of the river walkway are carpetted with Fringe Cups which are a very abundant escaped species.
Regards Moths, i've only seen 2 species so far this year. So getting a Moth trap was the next step. Just hope it pulls a few in. Sorry to hear about your reason for not running yours for 3 years.
      Thanks again
      Dean

    1. Thank you Toffeeapple. Fringe Cups are an abundant "escape" species along the Kelvin.
In answer to your question they are Lesser Black-backed Gulls. They nest on the roofs of all the tennements here.
