Tuesday 2nd June

High cloud. 10/22/12c. W/NW1-3

Started the day checking the moth trap and there seems to be a wee bit of a theme going on in that there was only 2 species again, along with a couple of Caddis Flies.
Then, just like last week i took the scenic route along the River Kelvin to do a bit of shopping at Iceland and back home along the canal.
So, here`s what i pointed the camera at today ;

Brimstone

Lesser Swallow Prominent

Caddis sp

Spider sp

Woody Nightshade

Foxglove

Meadow Cranesbill

Yellow Flag

  1. When I see nightshade flowers, I am reminded how close they are to potatoes! Nice photos.

  2. Super photo of the Brimstone Moth - I failed miserably to get a decent one of mine. Hope you get more moths in the trap soon Dean.
