Started the day checking the moth trap and there seems to be a wee bit of a theme going on in that there was only 2 species again, along with a couple of Caddis Flies.
Then, just like last week i took the scenic route along the River Kelvin to do a bit of shopping at Iceland and back home along the canal.
So, here`s what i pointed the camera at today ;
Brimstone |
Lesser Swallow Prominent |
Caddis sp |
Spider sp |
Woody Nightshade |
Foxglove |
Meadow Cranesbill |
Yellow Flag |
When I see nightshade flowers, I am reminded how close they are to potatoes! Nice photos.
ReplyDeleteThank you Peggy.
DeleteYeah, same here regards Nightshade flowers.
Super photo of the Brimstone Moth - I failed miserably to get a decent one of mine. Hope you get more moths in the trap soon Dean.
ReplyDeleteThank you Caroline. Had a blank night, last night...and with the weather taking a turn for the worse, i'm not putting the trap out now till after the weekend.
